- Gain wisdom and insights through every means, ask questions, talk, read, listen, write, draw, explore and experiment.
- Authentic needs can be fulfilled by yourself, you are not dependent on others.
- Accept that nothing stays the same. Don’t cling to anything and expect it will keep on fulfilling authentic needs. Allow yourself to grieve loss.
- Continue to learn and develop strategies and skills, so authentic needs can be fulfilled in various ways.
- Focus on the fulfillment of authentic needs, regardless of current views and beliefs, without causing suffering to self or others.
- You are responsible for managing your views and beliefs which can cause you or others to suffer, and transform them into views and beliefs that are wholesome to yourself and others.
- Know the difference between developing (positive results ), maintaining (positive results) and exploiting (negative results) oneself and others.
- Your personal time and energy are scarce, spend it wisely.
